Nickel Traditional Heated Towel Rail with Two Overhanging Rails - 1500mm x 574mm

If you want the radiator to feel like part of the bathroom rather than simply a heat source, this freestanding towel radiator has the right sort of presence. Its nickel-finished steel frame is tall and narrow, with six vertical bars set inside a rectangular surround and two overhanging rails, one at the top and another through the centre, for keeping towels close to hand.

The 1500mm height makes good use of vertical space, while the 574mm width keeps the footprint relatively contained. A 235mm projection gives the piece enough depth to feel substantial without making it awkward to position around nearby sanitaryware or furniture.

As a central heating bathroom radiator, it delivers 2736 BTU, providing useful heat for the room while helping damp towels dry between uses. The pipe centres are 339mm apart, which is the main measurement to check when planning the plumbing.

You can also set the tall heated towel rail up for electric operation when you do not want to run the rest of the heating system. A 400W thermostatic element and dual-fuel valves are required for this setup, both sold separately, allowing the rail to operate independently during warmer weather. For a standard plumbed connection only, angled radiator valves can be selected instead.

A smaller 963mm x 673mm model is available in the same matching finish if you prefer a lower, wider format.
